1. Driver requirements

• Minimum driver age: from 20 years of age.
• A valid driving licence and an ID card or passport are required. You upload photos of them when you sign the rental contract online and show the originals at pick-up.
• Only the drivers declared in the rental contract may drive the car.

2. Additional drivers

An additional driver can be added as an extra when you book. If the car is driven by a person who is not declared in the contract, the insurance cover no longer applies and the renter is fully liable for any damage.

3. Insurance

Purchasing one of our insurance packages is mandatory for every rental. See the Insurance page for what each package covers.

No insurance package covers damage to the interior of the vehicle, or loss or damage of keys, tyres or wheels (rims). These are always charged to the renter. Natural phenomena are covered only for flood.

4. Pick-up and return

• Pick-up and return stations: Corfu Center, Corfu Airport, Ethnikis Lefkimmis 22 (next to the airport), KTEL Corfu (bus station), Corfu Port and our head office at the 4th km of Pelekas Rd, Kompitsi.
• Deliveries and returns outside business hours are charged as night delivery.
• The car must be returned at the date, time and station stated in the contract.
• Rental days are counted in 24-hour periods from the pick-up time. The first hour after the last 24-hour period is free. Up to 4 hours after that, a small extra-hours charge applies. Beyond that, a full extra day is charged.

5. Extra charges

Current prices are shown during booking, before you pay. All car rental prices and extra charges are final and include VAT.

6. Payment

You pay a deposit online by card when you book (30% of the rental, as shown at checkout). You pay the balance in cash or by card at pick-up, or online by card together with the deposit, and you choose which when you book. No security deposit is held on your credit card.

7. Rental contract

A rental contract is created electronically for every booking and is signed electronically by the renter. A copy of the signed contract is emailed to the renter and kept by Kinesis Rentals.

8. Privacy

We use your personal data only to manage your booking and rental contract, and we do not share it with third parties except where required by law. The photos of your ID and driving licence that you upload when signing the contract are stored securely, are used only for the rental contract, and are kept only for as long as the law requires.
